Anne edits and proofreads fiction, non-fiction and web content. Her background is in newspaper and magazine publishing where she spent twenty-five years editing everything from court stories to travel features. Anne started her business, ASG Editorial, in May 2017, and her clients include independent fiction and non-fiction writers, small businesses and non-profits.

Louise Harnby is a freelance fiction editor with 30 years' publishing experience. She works directly with independent authors and specializes in crime fiction, thrillers, mysteries and suspense. Beginning, developing and mature writers welcome.

Richard specialises in scientific and technical academic books, journals, and educational material, but is happy to turn his hand to anything to do with words.

John offers copy-editing and proofreading services. He has extensive experience in financial services and government. He also works extensively with non-native writers of English.

With a background in languages, financial printing and training, Agnès works essentially with businesses, agencies, schools and publishers and specialises in proofreading non-fiction materials (brochures, reports, manuals, handbooks, yearbooks, presentations, training materials, newsletters, non-fiction books, etc.) and translations between French and English.

Janet specialises in proofreading and editing academic and non-fiction work for publishers, academics, law firms, international development agencies, think tanks, government departments, professional services firms, and students.

Heather specialises in proofreading fiction, particularly science fiction, fantasy, speculative fiction and horror, although other genres are also welcome. She works on books, novellas and short stories.

Sarah brings wide experience to her editing work, which she has been doing since 1995. Having initially been a languages teacher, she specialises in editing educational materials (especially French, German and English). She also edits academic texts (particularly history, and she welcomes other non-scientific subjects), often by non-native English speakers. Sarah translates academic materials from French and German into English.

Lindsey specialises in non-fiction copyediting and proofreading. She works with organisations, charities and individuals in cultural, heritage, business, tourism and leisure sectors. Lindsey set up Shine Editorial in 2019 after 20+ years working as a marketing and communications professional.

Dee specialises in editing and proofreading academic texts from publishers, educational institutions, non-governmental organisations and individuals. Highly experienced in all aspects of international development, she also has a strong background in, and passion for, anything music and arts related.

Whilst specialising in music, the arts, philosophy and alternative therapies, Dawn is open to working in any non-scientific subject areas. As a keen linguist she is experienced in working with texts involving knowledge of various European languages (including Russian and French) and welcomes work with writers whose first language is not English. Dawn is also a professional piano teacher.
